CHRISTIAN MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT / MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER

Make an eternal difference, feeding orphans and children, broadcasting the gospel on TV, and defending religious freedom by prayers and petitions, in Jesus' name.

Professionally represent our nonprofit ministry vision to donors, and procure major gift commitments to help our team raise $1,000,000 per year. Contact and schedule in-person visits to our existing list of potential donors, travel to meet them in Colorado (30%) and out of state (30%). Follow up monthly with top 200 prospects while coordinating with CEO and phone ministry team (30%) to update CRM, plan / follow up on annual fundraising events or mailings. Pray with donors to serve their needs (10%) and build lasting kingdom relationships.

A) Contact and arrange in-person meetings with donors (30%):

*Use our existing database of past donors, build awareness and affinity by telephone

*Procure face-to-face appointments at donor's preferred location

*Professionally represent our Christian ministry to show impact and needs

*Ask for financial commitments toward our capital campaign goals

*Interface by email, text, telephone, postal mail with 200+ donors monthly to give updates and facilitate pledge fulfillment

B) Travel within Colorado to meet face to face with donors (30%):

*Use company car for scheduled overnight visits with or without CEO accompanying

*Willingly use your personal car for local visits with occasional gasoline reimbursement

*Keep simple non-confidential notes in spiral notebook and enter data into CRM daily

C) Travel outside Colorado to meet face to face with USA donors (30%):

*Arrange efficient air travel and hotels to visit out-of-state donors, with or without CEO accompanying (plus $50 daily per diem for each night spent outside Colorado)

*Professionally represent our Christian ministry to show impact and needs

*Ask for financial commitments toward our capital campaign goals

*Keep simple non-confidential notes in spiral notebook and enter data into CRM daily

D) Prayer (10%):

*Build professional and loving relationships with Christian supporters who share our vision and mission

*Write down all prayer needs and requests, and pray ongoing as led to share with team at regular Tuesday staff meetings

*Must be willing to sign and abide by our Christian, Biblical statement of beliefs

E) Flexible work environment, independent self-supervised duties, creativity encouraged, training provided, could grow into supervisory position with higher pay in 3 to 5 years, over a team you build and grow with us.
