Diet Clerk Job at Suburban Hospital
As Diet Clerk (Full time - 40 hours per week), you will:
- Obtain meal orders from patients using customer, telephone and computer skills.
- Coordinates patient diet information with tray line, diet office, dietitians.
- Coordinates supply orders for hospital departments.
Shift: Candidate must be able to work 6:00am -3:30pm. The candidate must also be able to work on weekends and holidays.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
One year of food service and/or telephone operating/customer service experience
Nutrition knowledge of therapeutic diets beneficial, but not required
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- One (1) year of experience may be substituted for required education.
