The role of the Dietary Aide is to enhance the quality of life of our residents by providing high quality service, care and job performance in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, cooperating and coordinating with other departments for the benefit of our resident community.
JOB SKILLS/DUTIES OF A DIETARY AIDE
- Dietary Aides provide excellent customer service to residents and family members to enhance resident satisfaction and the overall dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in dining room in accordance with residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist in scheduled cleaning duties and dishwashing
- Set up meal trays, food carts and dining room as instructed. Deliver trays and food carts to designated areas.
- Dietary Aides distribute and collect menus as needed.
- Prepare and deliver snacks, beverages, etc. as instructed
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS OF A DIETARY AIDE
- Dietary Aide must be at least 16 years old
- No experience required
