Job Summary:

Essential Duties:
- Serves food in accordance with recognized safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards and procedures.
- Assists other department areas to maintain proper levels of stock and services.
- Follows department and government safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintains a “clean as you go” workspace.

Qualifications
Education/Work Experience Requirements:
Six months recent work experience in a healthcare field and/or large-volume food preparation that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities
Licensure/Certification
- Current Washington State Department of Health Food Worker Card is required.
- For Dietary Aide-Lead: Advanced Food Safety Certification (available from NEHA or ServeSafe) must be obtained within 90 days of working in a lead position, and will be verified by department management.
- If assigned catering delivery duties:
Current Washington State Driver’s License, subject to state vehicle verification to comply with hospital insurance requirements.
