We are the largest nonprofit organization in the Eastside area, every year we serve over 65,000 homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities, and have been since 1971. Programs are aimed at helping people achieve stability and helping them gain the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty for good.

Summary of the Role: *
During this exciting period of growth, Hopelink seeks a Digital Content Producer who’ll play a vital role in supporting agency communications initiatives through the management of Hopelink’s digital presence social media strategy, email marketing, and cross-platform content production. Under the supervision of the Creative Director and working closely with the Marketing Manager, this role will execute owned, paid, and earned digital content campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube while driving engagement on each channel. The Digital Content Producer should be a skilled social media strategist who’s able to flexibly adapt voice for different audiences and whip up clear, compelling, and tactical copy.
The Digital Content Producer will also oversee the email marketing lifecycle for various Hopelink audiences. They will ensure email accuracy, accessibility, cross-platform link tracking and optimization of Hopelink marketing emails for deliverability.

What you’ll be doing: *
- Works with Creative Director and Marketing Manager to translate strategic communications plan into content strategy with specific focus on social media and email marketing.
- Manages Hopelink’s social media content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Develops high-quality, channel-appropriate content that ladders up to strategic goals, effectively targets audiences, bolsters engagement, and cultivates online community.
- Writes engaging, audience-tailored, and tactical copy across all social channels and content mediums.
- Liaisons with Sr. Visual Designer to develop visual assets for posts, stories, reels, video, and more.
- In partnership with Marketing Manager, identifies, tracks, and reports channel KPIs.
- Tells the story of Hopelink, its clients, partners, donors, and employees through an anti-racist, intersectional, and trauma-informed lens.
- Cultivates online communities by implementing earned content strategies, responding to user questions, and engaging with community partners and stakeholders as Hopelink.
- Occasionally publishes live content from Hopelink events and engagements.
- Fulfills sponsor or community partner social media content agreements.
- Continuously researches and identifies evolving industry-preferred social media practices, tools, and mediums to reach audiences and advances engagement more effectively.
- Works cross collaboratively with diverse groups, all with diverse needs, perspectives, and lived experiences.

- Three or more years of work experience in social media content production and strategy for an established brand.
- One or more years of experience in leading email marketing campaigns including experience with email marketing software (EX: MailChimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact)
- Relevant education or training; a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, or journalism is preferred or equivalent combination of education, work experience, or military experience.
- Working knowledge of visual communications principles. Experience with photography and/or videography a plus.
- One or more years of experience using a Content Management System (CMS) to create and manage social media content (EX: Hootsuite, Sprout, Buffer, Sendible, SocialPilot, etc.)
- Experience with the marketing matrix, A/B testing, lead nurturing, and marketing automation.
- Experience with Adobe Create Suite, primarily Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Experience with the Meta Business Suite as well as Facebook Ads.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, editorial judgement, and ability to capture brand voice.
- Knowledge of general social media best practices as well as those for each channel.
- Working knowledge and experience with multichannel marketing, editorial process, audience segmentation & engagement, growth strategy, and public relations.
- Interest in anti-poverty work, social justice, racial equity, and/or community building.
- An understanding around a trauma informed approach to providing services
