POSITION: Digital Marketing Specialist

LOCATION: Iron River, MI

SHIFT: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

DESCRIPTION
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, building, and implementing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms. You will use organic search campaigns, paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and other channels to increase awareness about our company, brand, products, and services.

The person in this role should be proactive, detailed-oriented, and deadline driven. The ideal candidate should be able to write with search engine and keyword optimization in mind.

RESPONSIBILITIES o Execute a results-driven social media strategy o Ensuring consistency of messaging and branding across all websites and online platforms o Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms o Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content o Attend events and produce live social media content o Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels o Monitor social media channels for industry trends o Interact with users and respond to google reviews, social media messages, inquiries, and comments o Review analytics and create reports on key metrics o Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy o Write and update website content o Perform other job-related duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS o Highly creative yet process-driven and relies on data to make decisions o Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms o Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and Photoshop o Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space

o Excellent analytical skills o Strong copywriting and copy editing skills o Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills o Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask o Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Education and Experience Requirements o Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field o 3-5 years experience with B2C marketing or content development o Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) o Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus o Excellent writing skills
