The ideal employee will be ENERGETIC, CREATIVE, compassionate, detail oriented, and have excellent time management skills.
You will be responsible for working with a group of members in the Day Program and in the community. You get to initiate engaging activities for the members while teaching social skills, independent living skills, and health and safety skills. Let your creativity fly! When not in the building, you get to assist members with attending and participate in various community activities! Who doesn't love the mall or even the Coke Museum??
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk and take flights of stairs. The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers; climb or balance and stoop or kneel. The employee is required to be able to safely operate a motor vehicle. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Staff must have valid drivers license, clean MVR, vehicle, and insurance on vehicle, be able to pass drug screen and background check.
Monday through Friday 10:00am-3:30pm
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00am-3:30pm
$14.50 per hour plus a $500 sign on bonus after 60 days
