Makor is looking to hire caring and responsible people to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting individuals with their personal care including showering, feeding, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADL) as necessary.
Accompanying individuals to medical appointments.
Assisting with preparing and serving meals.
Providing companionship while engaging in productive activities which helps to foster independence and community engagement.
Employee Job Requirements:
Good interpersonal skills and commitment to assisting individuals with disabilities.
Capacity to relate to individuals and promote meaningful outcomes.
Ability to become certified in AMAP, Standard First Aid/CPR, and SCIP-R.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.30 - $18.00 per hour
