• Hours are 8:00am-4:00pm each day Monday through Friday. No nights, no weekends, and no holidays.

General Responsibilities:

• Conduct shall always meet high professional standards, including confidentiality, co-worker relations, cooperation, and teamwork.
• Perform all responsibilities designated by the Executive Director and designated coordinators.
• Participate in public relation efforts when possible.

Coordination, supervision, and management of clients at the DAC:

• Provide daily cares to individuals which may include feeding and toileting.
• Supervise individuals working on goals developed by their care team.
• Help think of fun and engaging activities for individuals to participate in.
• Assist individuals in building skills to help integrate into the community.
• Help provide transportation to and from the DAC using a company van.

Fostering an environment of growth for the clients served by the DAC:

• Serve in a team-teaching effort in regards to total programming, socialization, and recreational activities.
• Respect client’s rights, especially the right of confidentiality.
• Assist clients with personal needs, including wheelchair transfers.
• Know the procedures for client first aid, fire, and other emergencies.
• Know rules and regulations pertaining to the DAC and follow all agency policies.
• Take responsibility for personal and professional growth and development.
