The Goddard School® Littleton, CO South Broadway located at 6975 S Broadway, Littleton CO 80122 is about to open its doors and looking for its first director. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter for a director position at our new school. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is preferred. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills and have a clear understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children. In addition, the candidate will possess the ability to motivate and inspire others.

The Director role includes:

• Overseeing operations including human resources, quality assurance and facility operations
• Facilitating the school opening process such as classroom and staff readiness
• Implementing the School’s education program
• Supporting faculty development
• Developing strong relationships with School faculty and families
• Managing a budget
• Complying with state childcare licensing regulations

Qualifications:

• Applicant must prove they meet Colorado’s qualifications for a Large Center Director, BA or BS in the relevant fields preferred
• Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate highly-effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Possess a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
