Director, Corporate Partnerships Job at PIVOT Agency
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and fully integrated naming rights and entitlement platforms on behalf of sports and entertainment venues, teams, and leagues
- Build and maintain an active and qualified pipeline of naming rights and entitlement prospects through targeted and consistent outreach
- Drive new business sales across current PIVOT property clients, including teams, leagues, tennis tournaments, golf events, and more
- Leverage existing book of business and national corporate relationships to further develop pipeline and drive incremental revenue opportunities across PIVOT
- Work with executive team to identify and engage new naming rights opportunities
- Cross-sell clients across multiple PIVOT services, including brand consulting, travel, and hospitality
- Lead sales presentations to perspective clients, including both in-person and on calls
- Effectively manage one’s own book of business, including prospecting focus, time management and sales pipeline management
- Ability to provide detailed reporting of sales pipeline and activity to both internal senior leadership and external property clients
- Provide regular progress reports on business development goals and new business outreach
- Help lead ideation and strategy sessions with the Property Sales executive team
- Communicate and ideate with PIVOT property clients on overarching sales progress, meetings, and market feedback
- Monitor industry news and trades to further understand market landscape
Job Performance Evaluation:
- Consistently meets and exceeds individual revenue goals on behalf of property clients
- Daily sales activity, including new prospective client outreach, client meetings, proposals, etc.
- Effectively communicates to senior leadership on sales outreach activity and individual revenue pipeline projections
- Acts in best interest of company objectives and works well with fellow team members and senior leadership
- Uses sound judgment in representing the company’s values and objectives inside and outside of the office
Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- BA/BS in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or other related disciplines
- 5-7+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, marketing and business development
- Experience selling multi-year 7 and 8-figure naming rights and entitlement agreements
- Expert knowledge and understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape
- Existing book of business and industry relationships

- Firm grasp of available networking platforms within the sports management industry
- Advanced negotiation skills

- Acute attention to detail, organization and efficiency
- Experience using MS Office, Salesforce and Google Suite
