This role is based out of our Stamford, CT HQ with a hybrid work schedule (3 days a week in office).

The Director, Enterprise Data Governance reports to the CFO, Product Supply and Business Services and is responsible for providing strategic enterprise data governance leadership across all BlueTriton Brands data domains. This critical role leads the SAP Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team partnering closely with BTB Leadership teams, Data Domain Directors, Business Functional Leaders, and EDM Digital Technology teams to implement and drive improved data quality, data integrity, and data governance.

In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day operational execution of data governance priorities aligned with digital technology deliverables, including data policies and best practices aimed at achieving the required level of consistency, accuracy, validity, and completeness of enterprise data.

Role And Responsibilities

• Develop a vision and strategy for data governance across the enterprise including implementing a data governance framework.
• Chair Data Governance Steering Committee responsible for defining data policies and standards
• Develop the SAP Data Governance framework including role definitions and accountabilities, charters, progress dashboards, published minutes, decision logs, change controls, data issue management and policies.
• Serve as the product leader for metadata management and data quality capabilities, including data cataloging, data lineage, and data quality monitoring
• Lead Business Process Management and process modeling governance enterprise wide
• Implement data governance strategy, controls, and capabilities including data catalog, metadata management, data quality certification, data quality metrics, reference data management, data domain hierarchy and taxonomy management, reporting and analytics governance, data classification and tagging, data architecture, and data modeling
• Design and deliver a data literacy program to educate executives and functional teams on importance of data and drive a data driven organizational culture
• Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives
• Participate in development of SAP master data management strategies, implementation roadmaps and business cases.
• Promote lean mindset as it pertains to the team’s operational effectiveness and opportunities to continuously improve data quality and data governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 10 years technology experience in SAP data governance, SAP Master Data Management (MDM), and data quality technologies.
• Minimum 10 years Business Operations
