Turner & Townsend is seeking an established Executive to lead the Infrastructure sector across the West region of the United States. The primary objective of the role is to accelerate our growth, build our capability, and establish our position as a leading consultancy in the provision of professional services for capital planning and delivery across major infrastructure projects. Turner & Townsend’s core services include project and program management, project controls, cost and commercial management as well as capital program/ project advisory services.
Responsibilities include:
- Determining and delivering an accelerated business growth strategy across the region
- Delivering an exciting team vision, which inspires others to perform beyond their initial aspirations
- Leading the development of our infrastructure proposition and delivery capability
- Engaging in and leading business development activities in the region, providing communication and focus to team members and leadership
- Developing and maintaining executive level relationships with clients and industry peers
- Building, developing and leading a team across the region to enable the achievement of target outcomes. The three key positions to initially recruit we envision to be Associate Director/ Director level talent with expertise in Project Controls, Cost Management and Commercial/ Procurement Management
- Supports client organizations to develop and deliver major projects and programs efficiently and effectively
- Proactively takes strategic ideas and opportunities to our clients, and identifies new services that could add value
- Creates operational and strategic plans to ensure commercial goals are achieved, risks defined, and projects are on target
- Actively monitors any risks that may threaten Turner & Townsend’s brand and market position and puts relevant measures in place
- Provides leadership and mentoring for the West Region infrastructure team
- Manages the delivery of team outputs in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards
- Extensive experience in leading the delivery of infrastructure capital projects and programs, specifically in rail and aviation
- Proven track record in winning work / business generation
- Established industry network
- Strong market reputation, recognition as a subject matter expert
- Degree holder in relevant discipline
- Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated, and hands-on team-player with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential, ability to communicate well with clients and senior management
- Experience of working within a client focused consultancy environment
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking and resilience to deal with a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $235 - $375K. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
