• Experience: At least two years recent experience in the clinical area(s) of assigned responsibility. Minimum three years leadership experience required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, related science, or business admin. MSN or MBA preferred.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of nursing principles and standards of care. Critical thinking skills and judgement. Demonstrated skills in communication, conflict resolution, and budgets. Ability to prepare reports, analyze statistics, and objectively assess staff member performance.
• Licenses/Registrations/Certifications: Current WA State RN license. Current BLS or must obtain within two months. Must be willing to obtain credentials/certifications related to areas of assigned responsibility within two years of employment.

The Clinical Director is responsible for the day to day operations of assigned Nursing Unit(s). The Clinical Director implements and supports hospital personnel policies, administrative view of contractual issues, and concepts developed by the nursing management team.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work requires regular and recurring physical exertion such as standing or walking for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, stooping, crouching and stretching required during the normal course of the day. The employee must exert 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects and must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.Requires frequent repetitive hand/wrist motions and finger manipulation. Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing to normal range. The work involves recurring exposure to moderate risks which require special safety and health precautions and the use of Personal Protective Equipment; risks such as exposure to contagious diseases, contaminated bodily fluids, sharp instruments, and other contaminants.
