Director of Marketing – North America

Main responsibilities:
- Create, lead, and monitor all marketing activities and results for the North American market
- Create a detailed marketing plan and budget focused on the North American market in collaboration with the global team
- Based on the Global branding, localize the EVBox North America branding that distinguishes us from our competitors through the creation of market specific customer communications, POS materials and digital assets.
- Establish and grow a strong PR and corporate communications strategy specific to the North American Market
- Develop a detailed North American demand generation strategy in close alignment with Sales and Customer Experience team (localize and create content, events, website, lead generation, email campaigns, social, SEO, etc.)
- Source, review and manage potential external agencies/third parties
- Revamp US website to be a demand generating, positive emotion evoking, brand tool that is relevant to US market and its customers
- Manage prospects in all marketing opportunity stages, actively working towards setting up the first meeting with Sales
- Initiate, implement and evaluate improvement plans to enrich/maintain the customer database
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and initiate regional marketing campaigns based on regional events/local opportunities
- Create new marketing tactics and or campaigns that systematically nurture relations and set up first appointments (Qualified Leads) for sales at the right moment
- Indicate areas of improvement and initiate projects to increase the level of professionalism of the marketing department or result in doing things more economically or efficiently.
- Analyze, monitor and report on market and competitor research, customer surveys, marketing campaigns, marketing budget and data quality
- Tailor global value propositions to North America customers and audiences via relevant creative messaging and marketing materials
- Product and execute go to market strategies for the North American market via successful execution of the marketing plan
- Develop sales enablement and compelling customer facing materials that bring to life the benefits of our product in a meaningful way
- Create and execute account based marketing plans for key accounts
This position will be based in the US, reporting to the Senior Vice President North America. You will work in close collaboration with:
- The Marketing, PR and Product teams based in Europe
- US sales, product, legal, finance and govt. affairs teams
- Agencies, vendors, and key accounts
What experience you'll bring to the team:
- Completed degree in Marketing or business related experience preferred
- At least 10 years of professional, broad, marketing work experience (with a minimum of 5 years in account-based marketing)
- Extensive agency interaction, management, or direct work experience at an agency
- 5+ years of creative experience focused on, but not limited to, US market copy creation/editing, design software to enable POS material creation
- Very experienced in interfacing with executive level (c-suite)
- EV and or EV charging experience
- Experience launching a new or redefined brand in the US market within the EV mobility or infrastructure space
- Strong consulting, communication, and presentation skills to key internal and external stakeholders
- Strong ability to drive programs in a matrix organization, you create strong networks and can pull various stakeholders into the program vision (from executive to operational level)
- Able to navigate and drive large programs within a complex, sometimes ambiguous stakeholder environment
- Experienced in developing and continuously improving on effective and lean program structures
- Strong negotiation skills, able to influence across internal organization and with customers, providing thought leadership and understanding of the wider business
- Self-starter, you can anticipate and mitigate program risks and proactively solve problems, which may require conceptual thinking and independent judgment in methods and techniques for obtaining results
