Director of Nursing Job at Willow Health Care
This position is for our Director of Nursing position. This is a salary position. Under administrative direction, performs work of unusual difficulty associated with directing the nursing care program at Willow Care Nursing Home and Willow West Apartments. This is a management level professional position in the field of nursing. Performs highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its applications to a variety of situations as well as exercise of independent judgment. The employee is responsible for the organization, planning and direction of the entire nursing service in all areas of Willow Care Nursing Home and Willow West Apartments. The employee is responsible for the development of rules, regulations, policies and procedures for the resident care program and assists the Nursing Home Administrator in the development of overall policy for the institution. The employee receives administrative direction from the Nursing Home Administrator and professional instruction from attending physicians. General supervision is exercised overall professional nursing staff.
Ability to direct, supervise, and lead the nursing department in daily care of our residents. Competent in keeping up to date with best practices and state/federal regulations. Flexibility to meet nursing needs. Ability to positively work with personnel that will be under your leadership
