Responsibilities/Qualifications/Skill set:

  • Implement and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing department, and monitor the facility’s QI, QM and survey reports.
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management situations.
  • Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care.
  • Working knowledge of MDs process, state and federal survey, and CMS preferred
  • Must be a team player, well organized, and flexible.
  • Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
  • Must have a minimum 4 years of experience working in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems and pharmacies.
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
  • Two years in supervisory/management position, including experience with budgets, staff development, training, and scheduling, preferred. Additional course work in management is an asset.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
