Job Description

Responsible for providing proactive data driven insights and actionable information to achieve competitive reimbursement, increase efficiency and implement best practices in revenue cycle operations. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle, with significant interaction with senior finance leaders (VP of Finance, Controller) and other key leaders.
Responsibilities
▪ Lead, review and provide recommendations to design and integrate new analytical processes to translate data into actionable insights to enhance organizational analytical capabilities and support strategic business decision-making. Connect the data across all of revenue cycle to understand the story and drive results through the data (not reporting) while working with the VP of Revenue Cycle and RCM leaders.
▪ Own and understand levers, DSO, and other results using data to anticipate or recognize trends, opportunities for improvement, and needed actions.
▪ Perform analysis of the under/over report to identify drivers behind variances in reimbursement versus fee schedules and drives correct action and root cause resolution.
▪ Conduct detailed managed care contract modeling and analysis with a high focus on physician reimbursement and Medicare methodology utilizing current contract modeling systems in support of contract negotiations and ongoing performance management.
▪ Perform extensive analysis and various follow-up activities to ensure the integrity of billing and reimbursement of medical services provided by the clinics are accurate and appropriate.
▪ Assure accurate and timely implementation of CDM additions, deletions, and changes to minimize Medicare Return to Provider (RTPs) and other billing issues. Identifies and analyzes departmental requests for changes to CDM.
▪ Work collaboratively with key business users to ensure business requirements and report specifications are documented accurately and completely.
▪ Maintain technical expertise and serve as a subject matter advisor on reporting/ analytics/ research products for the enterprise.
▪ Oversee the completion of required monthly financial analyses to support the net revenue calculation and other reporting needs. Own the A/R model and collaborates with the Controller to dig in and understand the results and drive actions.
▪ Assists departmental leadership with the valuation of required Medicare cost report reserves and Valuation Allowance accounts and assists in supporting the calculation with external financial auditors during year-end audit
▪ Identify, research, and initiate opportunities to enhance revenue and improve administrative efficiency of governmental payer programs while ensuring internal policies are updated and all staff are aware of and following the applicable policy points.

▪ Assist in the development and forecasting of systemwide revenue budgets. Ensure that budgeting for Gross and Net Patient Revenue is accurate, timely, and complies with accounting standards.
▪ Develop and implement various RCM reporting metrics and dashboards using various platforms including but not limited to EPIC, excel, Tableau, BI, etc. to provide timely insights and drive results and action plans.
▪ Monitor key revenue cycle management performance levels, identifying revenue cycle problems and effectively communicate solutions for improvement as well as monitoring protocol to ensure accountability.
▪ Direct and manage resources, including, but not limited to, personnel decisions and activities such as hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, disciplinary issues, and implementation of personnel policies.
▪ Create consistent career development programs and training opportunities across the analytic group model.
▪ Support and promote the development of all analytical talent across the analytic group model.

Minimum Qualifications

▪ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration; Master’s in healthcare, business or related field preferred
▪ 6+ years of Analyst experience, preferably in healthcare
▪ Experience in high-growth organization that utilizes multiple systems
