Our Mission

Nestled in a picturesque residential community in Alameda, minutes away from San Francisco, Saint Joseph Notre Dame (SJND) High School is a Catholic parish high school that provides a dynamic and rigorous college preparatory education. Our faith-filled, diverse, and welcoming community embraces the teachings of Jesus Christ. Catholic Mission of SJND

• Upholds the mission of St. Joseph Notre Dame High School and models a moral code which is consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church

• Consult on the design and supervise the deployment, implementation, and ongoing operations and maintenance of all network and stand-alone system hardware/software in the administrative and academic computing environments, including security, back-ups, emergency recovery, and the BYOD program
• Manage and provide support for web-based software systems, e.g. Google Admin, our LMS, ed tech software
• Supervise the deployment, implementation, and ongoing operations and maintenance of schoolwide voice systems including, but not limited to, phones, intercom, walkie-talkies, cell phones, and mass notification systems including SchoolMessenger
• Consult and collaborate with owner’s representative and impacted stakeholders to integrate technology in facility remodels, expansion, and new construction
• Develop and deliver technology training for administrative and instructional staff, e.g. voice systems, print/copy machines, LMS, SIS, Google G Suite for Education
• Work with vendors to provide external support for school network and technical operations
• Oversees and supports TSMTS with A/V needs for campus events

• Work with the Principal and Vice Principal to develop a comprehensive and effective technology plan for implementation
• Collaborate with the Vice Principal, Dean of Academics, and Academic Council to plan and facilitate the most effective use of educational technology.

• Work with the Dean of Academics and Vice Principal to facilitate high quality professional development, working with teachers to refine their knowledge and skills around using technology as a tool to enhance instruction across all content areas
• Oversee and provide support for 21st century technology integration into the curriculum based on best practices.
• Direct and supervise SIS, LMS, Google G Suite for Education and other Ed Tech tools implemented on campus

• Coordinate annual budgets and oversee department purchasing for all computing, voice, and technical operations requirements
• Stay abreast of advances in technology systems and educational technology through continuing education and professional development
• Chair the Technology Team on an ad hoc basis

• $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience and skills
