Located in Camp County, Texas, the critical access hospital was constructed in 2009 and features 25 private rooms with pastoral views 24-hour emergency department designated a Level IV trauma center and Level Ili stroke center; surgical suites; advanced diagnostic technology; sleep lab; swing bad care; 16 physician offices and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.

In partnership with UT Health Science Center Tyler, Ardent Health Services operates UT Health East Texas system. Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to strategic and operational planning, coordination and goal setting in collaboration with Hospital Administration, Medical Providers, and Department Leaders throughout the facility.
  • Monitor, report and manage Imaging Services/Radiology employee productivity.
  • Recruit, manage, develop and motivate Imaging Services/Radiology employees - maximizing performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor, report and improve Imaging Services/Radiology quality, performance and safety, and associated technical and service indicators.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and management of plans to start new services, and grow existing service volumes.
  • Develop, communicate, monitor and enforce policies, procedures, protocols, pathways, schedules, and other work processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and accrediting standards.
  • Track maintenance of equipment, plan for future equipment needs, and submit Capital Expense Requests.
  • Form strong relationships with patients, physicians, supporting departments.
  • Utilize effective marketing strategies to attract more customers.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in related field preferred; Masters Degree in Healthcare / Business Administration preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited program in medical radiography, radiologic sciences, or medical sonography required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Radiology with at least two years in a supervisory role is required.
  • Experience with Cardiac Imaging is a plus.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board is required.
  • Licensed by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) credential through the AHRA preferred.
