CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE: EMERGENCY WATER RESTORATION TECHNICIAN

Water Restoration Technicians will dispatch from various locations and travel to the site of the water damage utilizing company vehicles, interact with the customer on arrival, and begin extensive documentation of the water damage. Documentation includes taking moisture readings using specialized instrumentation, photographs of the affected areas, and utilization of company iOS devices with industry software. Following documentation and authorizations, specialized equipment including dehumidifiers, desiccants, and air movers will be placed according to the requirements of the spaces to reduce the moisture content. Removal of affected surfaces may be required including flooring and lower portions of drywall in a focused demolition method. Continuous moisture monitoring and documentation is performed in order to inform the next phase of work and confirm job scope, with the final steps of equipment removal from the job site and communication with further phases of the restoration process.

Qualifications – An understanding of construction and/or restoration is preferred but not required, and we will train the right candidate who has a strong desire to work hard and learn. Independent problem-solving skills are critical to this position; strong communication skills to the customer as well as up and down the supervisory chain will lead to rapid growth opportunities. Candidates must be able to perform manual labor and have basic phone/iPad intuition. This position requires physical dexterity, stamina and strength. You must be able to pass a drug test, background check and have a good driving record with a clean DMV report. Must be able to speak and understand English, Spanish language skills are a bonus.

The starting base pay for technicians is $19 an hour with bonuses and good benefits, with higher pay offered to candidates with additional experience or qualifications beneficial to job duties. Certifications and additional training will be provided at company expense. Following a 90 day probationary period, employees will be eligible for full benefits and an increase in pay based on job performance.
