MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• No prior experience required, but (preferred).
• Chemical safety awareness.
• Ability to read chemical directions and warnings for their proper use.
• Ability to read and understand any caution or safety notices

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Able to obtain and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scrapes foods from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays, and miscellaneous equipment in three compartments sink ensuring proper cleanliness and sanitation.
• Organizes all plate ware, glassware, silverware, and all other wares on proper storage shelving, or storage areas.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors including cleaning floor mats.
• Cleans dishwashing machine including traps, screens and de-limes machine using proper chemicals while wearing protective gear.
• Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators, cutting boards, and kitchen equipment. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Uses protective gear while performing duties. i.e. back braces, gloves, goggles, aprons, boots, and masks to ensure self-safety.
• Perform any general cleaning tasks using authorized, institutional labeled cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
• Rotates incoming food products and organizing them in walk-in refrigerators, freezers and dry storage room.
• Assists in training and supporting of new employees.
• Attend training, safety, pre-shift, and departmental meetings as scheduled.
• Washes, peels and prepares vegetables, meats and other food items.
• Perform side work as directed by management. (See side work lists)
• Gives breaks or covers shifts for Employee Cafeteria.
• Gives breaks or covers shifts on the buffet line.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by management

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
