Lifetime Products Inc., is seeking an Dispatch Tech to join our team. This is for Day shift.
Wage: From $17.00
The Dispatch Tech is responsible for efficiently coordinating all Lifetime trailer movements within the Clearfield facility. This position works closely with many areas of Lifetime including Transportation, Production, Metals, and Maintenance. The majority of the day will be spent using a variety of computer programs to identify and complete assigned work load. This person must be a team player and have great communication skills.
Candidates must be self-motivated, proactive, organized and have an excellent attitude. They must be able to handle various office duties including data entry, taking radio calls, making phone calls and sending e-mails. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly based on current level of knowledge. Excellent attendance and performance is required.
Essential Duties and Skills include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Able to multitask and adapt to changes quickly while working in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to maintain a good attitude even under stress
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Problem solving and decision making abilities
- Ability to identify inefficient trailer moves and willingness to address and correct
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented (must be able to match and compare numbers effectively)
- Follow all company policies
- Ability to read, understand, and follow current processes within the Logistics department
- There will be times that overtime hours will be required including Saturdays
