We are seeking a high energy individual with outstanding communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, organizational and time management skills to fill our Dispatcher position.
This position supports the Vice President of Operations and the operations staff of both North Star Ranch and North Point Logistics by arranging transportation services; communicating with customers; directing drivers as necessary, and negotiating with transportation carriers to maintain and increase the Company’s profitability.
Qualifications:
- Verifiable work experience related to the requirements of this position:
- Excellent understanding of transportation operations and dispatch
- Knowledge and experience with Transportation Management Systems
- Knowledge of shipping and warehouse management systems
- Superior Customer Services and people skills, including excellent written and verbal communications ability
- The ability to problem-solve, identify root cause, and implement solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate detailed directions to others
- Excellent organizational and computer skills
