Dispatcher/Customer Service Job at Gillespie & Son, Inc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and taking orders
- Asnwering phones and directing to proper department
- Interacting with customers and drivers
- Keeping schedule of deliveries and drivers
- Maintaining inventories of raw materials
- Verify delivery tickets to match up with invoice
- Ensure COD payments are collected in a timely manner
- Maintain petty cash drawer and reconcile daily
- Coordinate with Plant Manager to distribute work to drivers on slower days
- Maintain timekeeping of drivers in payroll system
- Maintain contractor’s store: stock shelves, assist in maintaining inventory
- May be required to start work early or stay late on occasion.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Good computer skills: Word, Excel, and ability to learn new software
· Ability to multi-task and adapt to unforeseen changes
· Basic math skills
· Attention to detail
· Good communication skills to interact with customers and co-workers
