DNA Collector Job at DDC
We are looking for DNA Collector that lives in Benton Harbor, MI. You must be available to start on Wednesday, 12/21/22 (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM). This is a very part time gig. The collector would be working 1 day per month on every 3rd Wednesday. The Collector will be observing DNA cheek swab collections and completing a chain of custody intended for paternity establishment. Work will be done at the Berrien County DSS Office. There will also be opportunities to collect samples at jails in the area.
The ideal candidate is responsible, responsive and can work well independently. This position requires high attention to detail and the ability to comfortably interact with the public. No experience is needed. Training is provided.
This is a contractor position (1099). The Collector will be paid an $8 per person rate or a minimum flat fee. The flat fee is guaranteed if a shift is shorter than the listed time or if clients don't show up for their appointment. Flat fees are based on round-trip mileage and time spent at the site.
