Position Description:
The Document Control Coordinator supports all facets of MSR-FSR’s business unit that includes managing employee training, managing eSafety, aiding in the completion of document revisions for Operating Procedures (OP’s), Work instructions (WI’s), Safety Instructions (SI’s), Competencies (CP’s), and Training Plans (TP’s).


Essential Job Functions:

Maintaining Records of Training - As part of daily tasks, Document Control Coordinator maintains detailed records of employee training that has been carried out on eSafety or by physical training. Training attendance is documented on SF-040 and uploaded into the Training module of the Integrated Management System at each occurrence. The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all e-Safety accounts for both MSR and FSR employees. On a monthly basis the Document Control Coordinator will administer quality training (as defined in QF-72-01-3, Monthly Training Schedule) to the Chandler site staff as well as ensuring the training documentation (Training Plans) are up to date for all other sites.

Document Control
The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for continuous improvement of existing Quality documentation and supports the development of new Quality programs. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Managing continuous improvement of document templates,
  • Coordinating 1-year and 3-year controlled document review initiatives,
  • Supporting External Audits (Certify Europe/Supplier),
  • Execution of Quality System internal audits,
  • Quality program daily facility walks,
  • Alignment and continuous improvement of Competency and Training documentation as program attributes are updated (WI’s/OP’s),
  • Migration of training accomplishments from E-Safety to integrated management system personnel files.

Job Experience / Requirements:

  • Work in direct conjunction with the Director of Quality to ensure all aspects of the Quality Management System are met on an ongoing basis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel, Power-point and Word.
  • Be self-directed, adaptable and maintain a positive attitude in response to workplace change.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
Work Environment:
  • Occasional work may be required to work in processing areas where particles and/or moderate chemical fumes known to be toxic are present. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.
  • Walking for extended periods (inspections and audit support) is required.
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time (training and document development / control) is required.
  • Office Ergonomics and awareness is imperative.
