Dog Walker/Pet Sitter Job at Hound Bound NYC
Hound Bound NYC is a Brooklyn based pet care service provider. We are looking for dedicated, professional and reliable fellow animal lovers to grow with us! Hound Bound NYC services several neighborhoods in the Brooklyn area including Crown Heights, Flatbush, Park Slope, South Slope, Kensington, Bed-Stuy, Williamsburg, Bushwick Clinton Hill and Downtown Brooklyn. We offer dog walking, check-ins, pet sitting, housesitting, and daycare services. We care for dogs, cats and small animals such as rabbits, ferrets and fish. As a dog walker/pet sitter with Hound Bound NYC you will be responsible for but not limited to the following: feeding pets, walking pets, providing a safe environment for pet sitting in your home, cleaning up after pets, administering medication, completing courses on proper pet care, safety and ethics, pick up and drop off of pets from clients homes for walks and other services.
To Work With Us You Need To:
- Live in or near by service areas in Brooklyn
- Have your own transportation such as a bike, scooter or car
- Own a smartphone
- Have a desire to grow within the company and in the pet care industry as a whole
- Have experience caring for animals
- Be comfortable with and have the ability to manage dogs of all sizes
- Be able to stand/walk for a minimum of 8 hrs per work day
- Be able to dedicate at least 6 months to working with our company
- Be comfortable with working outdoors in all weather types
- Have time management skills
- Have communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $300.00 - $800.00 per week
