POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Drafter to be a vital part of our business and future growth of the Product Development Team in Reamstown, PA! This position is responsible for creating the shop drawings which show Production how to build each custom crane revolving door.
PRIMARY DUTIES

• Creates and modifies 2D AutoCAD drawings
• Creates and modifies 3D solid models using SolidWorks
• Works with the Operations team to resolve any issues during the production process
• Provides clear project status and technical concerns to Sales team for communication to customers
• Creates and maintains technical illustrations
• Promptly escalates to manager any foreseeable deviations from schedule/budget requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate degree in engineering/design/drafting or similar technical discipline required, or 5+ years relevant work experience
• Experience using 2D and 3D computer design packages
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical designs and drawings
• Excellent English written and oral communication
• Experience working in ISO 9001 and 14001 systems preferred
