Drywall Finisher Job at United Technologies Services Inc.
United Technologies Services is a telecommunications contractor, with main office/warehouse in northern NJ area. (N. NJ. Little Ferry) We are looking for a skilled Painter/ Drywall Finisher to become part of our team. This candidate must have several years of experience with: Repairing, installing, taping and finishing drywall as well as painting surfaces. We are looking for a professional who is capable of working on their own as well as working in a team at various job sites. The ideal candidate is someone who works hard and takes pride in a job well done. Pay range ($25-35 per hr. based on experience) Valid license needed, company vehicle provided.
Key Requirements:
§ Min five years of experience repairing, installing, taping and finishing drywall.
§ Must be comfortable working in stilts.
§ Candidate should have experience creating a smooth finished surface with both spackle & plaster.
§ Must have a Valid Driver’s license a must.
§ Experience with finish painting of surfaces using paint rollers, brushes and or spray guns.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Must speak and write English)
§ Learns and adapts quickly with the ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessary.
§ Maintain assigned resources and tools.
§ Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and wear personal protective gear properly as required.
