Job Responsibilities for DSPs

• You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
• You will spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
• You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• You will participate in community integration activities

Qualifications for DSPs:

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Actividades de vida cotidiana
• Limpieza liviana del hogar
• Banar
• Aseo
• Bano
• Cuidado de las unas
• Ejercicios/Rango de movimiento
• Transferencias/uso de aparatos mecanicos de levante
• Alimentacion oral
• Chequeo de signos vitales: temperatura, pulso, respiracion
• Tareas de manejo del hogar: lavado de ropa, preparacion de alimentos, tender la cama, etc.
• Asistencia con ambulacion
• Asistencia con medicacion
