DESCRIPTION


The Advantage team is seeking a high potential Team Lead with ability to exceed the performance expectations of a Relationship Manager while assisting with client escalations and various team developmental activities. A Team Lead will cultivate personal relationships and become a trusted resource for their clients, associated MS Financial Advisors, and the members of their team. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to offer knowledgeable support in a professional and efficient manner, while taking the initiative to stay up to date on both company products and services, as well as broader trends in the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Team Lead, you will help drive our industry leading service culture by:
    Exhibiting critical thinking / problem solving skills to address client issues and questions to deliver a world-class experience
    Acting as a liaison with our internal support teams to ensure our client’s service needs are met in a timely manner
    Demonstrate leadership on a daily basis
    Assist Team Manager with daily duties including monitoring job performance and coaching employees
    Having a thorough understanding of all Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE products and services
    Focusing on the bottom-line performance and constantly looking at ways to improve overall performance, customer satisfaction and the entire customer experience
    Carrying out responsibilities with attention and adherence to E*TRADE’s core values – Customer Focus, Agility, Reliability, and Innovation

QUALIFICATIONS


Basic
    Minimum of 2-year brokerage experience
    Series 7/63 license required
    Series 9/10 (required in 90 days of hire date)

Preferred
    Bachelor’s Degree
    2+ years E*TRADE Relationship Management experience with proven track record on service issues (no customer complaints with follow up, clear capability with respect to all ETF systems and operational processes)
    Strong interpersonal collaboration and team skills including working with cross-functional teams – proven flexibility, adaptability, and reliability
    Excellent knowledge of ETF Compliance practices and proven track record working within ETF Compliance and industry regulatory parameters
    Thorough understanding of the securities industry including equity, margin, and option trading
    Ability to act with sensibility and professionalism within a dynamic business environment with minimal supervision
    Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
    Outstanding oral and written communication skills
    Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment, as well as flexible shift assignments and additional hours when business needs dictate
