Professional Body Piercer
2022 brings exciting new developments at Monica Vinader as we continue to develop our piercing service in our stores. Your skill, experience and knowledge will help us deliver an unparalleled service to our customers in a fun, accessible, luxury environment. As well as providing piercings to a high standard, you will help support us in launching this across our Nordstrom Shop-in-Shop locations and Boutiques. This role is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about service and piercing to join a business with amazing values and great opportunities to be involved in an exciting new initiative.

What you’ll do

• Pierce clients with single use needles, making customers feel confident in your skill and experience.
• Style and advise our customers using our exclusively designed products.
• Deliver warm and inviting customer service, making our customers feel comfortable in our beautifully designed piercing studio.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety while ensuring compliance with all necessary guidelines.
• Support the aftercare process, confidently resolving any problems customers may experience.
• Consult and guide our North American team on policies & procedures for your jurisdiction.
• Guide, support and train our Sales Associates and other team members about the world of piercing.

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years’ experience with needle piercing.
• Experience working with Autoclaves and relevant piercing supplies.
• Well versed on current trends, maybe setting some yourself!
• A customer focused mindset, putting them first in all you do.
• An understanding and appreciation of the luxury service environment.
• A portfolio to be proud of! (Instagram/Facebook/Website)
• Demonstrable knowledge of piercing standards and regulations in your relevant county or state, including a valid permit.
• A passion for sharing your knowledge with others, willing to help and advise different areas of the business
