Reports To Assistant Child Care Directors
Job Summary We are seeking energetic, caring individuals for our busy before and after school program.
Looking for help with your early childhood degree, Associates or Bachelors? We are Keystone Stars Centers
and participate in the TEACH program, which pays for 95% of our tuition.

• Be an important part of a child's life and the longest serving child care provider in the US!

• Now hiring Y-Care School Age Site Supervisors and Assistant Teachers.

• All programs are either located in an East Penn or Parkland School District Elementary School

(listed below).

• Our typical days in the schools are as follows AM Care (7am-9am) AND PM Care (3pm-6pm)! -

Possibility of full-time positions!

• Did we mention there is $1000.00 sign-on bonus - in addition to our awesome salary?

• Paid trainings and clearances!

• 2 years experience required for Teachers!

• YMCA membership included

$15.00 – Assistant Teachers (Assistants can work AM only, PM only or both shifts.)
$17.00 – Lead Teachers (Leads work both AM/PM shifts.)
Days: Monday – Friday; Hours : 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM AND/OR 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Parkland: Cetronia, Ironton, Fogelsville, Jaindl, Kernsville, Kratzer, Parkway Manor, Schnecksville and
Veterans Memorial
East Penn: Shoemaker/Macungie, Wescosville and Willow Lane
Location Allentown YMCA, 425 S. 15th Street, Allentown PA 18102
Work sites are located in each individual elementary school.

Requirements
Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, FBI Clearance and NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry
Clearance) (paid for by the YMCA/must maintain employment for 6 months from hire date), Health
Assessment and TB Test and two written references documenting experience with children.
Educational
Requirements or
Experience Required
2 Years experience directly caring for children.
Educational Requirements: Minimum of High School Education; College Degree in Education or Human
Service Field preferred.
