EDI Coordinator Job at Leggett & Platt

As the EDI Coordinator you will work closely with customers, business units and Information Technology to facilitate electronic communication via EDI for the organization and act as an owner of the strategic program. This position serves a critical role in monitoring and maintaining the EDI infrastructure and ensuring that EDI transactions are sent and received properly. In addition, this position will work with the Information Technology team and the business to prioritize needs. We are looking for a collaborative team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment undergoing rapid growth. A successful candidate will use excellent communication skills and provide high quality service to all stakeholders.
Things you will do as an EDI Coordinator:
- Manage and prioritize EDI setups with new Trading Partners and new or changed documents for existing Trading Partners.
- Collaborate with Trading Partners and perform tests on EDI transmissions.
- Maintain documents for Trading Partners set ups and analyze customer requirements for processes.
- Act as a liaison between our 3rd party EDI provider, Trading Partners, and Leggett & Platt to maintain effective and healthy relationship.
- Prepare plans and manage EDI Trading Partner implementation to meet requirements.
- Coordinates with team members to troubleshoot and maintain a stable EDI environment.

High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications, or related field
- 3 years of relevant technical experience and Customer service
- 1 yr EDI experience
