Support and build relationships with students through a trauma-sensitive school environment.
Support delivery of responsive, engaging curriculum to meet individual student needs through unique programs of study for core and elective coursework.
Offer consistent practice and positive regard to help students expand their academic abilities and self-esteem.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote student development through:
- lessons and curriculum that meet standards and individual needs
- a classroom environment built on rapport and positive relationships
- responsive, engaging, and flexible expectations of student behavior and academic achievement
Enhance trauma-sensitive school culture by:
- collaborating with stakeholders to promote student interests
- participating in development that enhances trauma sensitivity
- offering multiple avenues for students to access content and demonstrate success
WAGE & BENEFITS
The wage for this hourly, year-round position begins at $15and is commensurate with certification &experience.
As part of the Education team, you will encourage students to believe in themselves while building academic skills.
