EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AND ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN: This position provides assistance and/or performs basic specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of the charge nurse or designated RN. This position may also perform non-direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed. Duties include: stocking of supplies, cleaning equipment, temperature checks, transporting patients as needed, collection of lab specimens. This position may transcribe and complete verbal orders for electrocardiograms and Holter Monitoring performed in the Emergency Department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Degree
EXPERIENCE: Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
