Electrical Engineer Job at Key Technology

Key Technology, headquartered in Walla Walla, is an international team of professionals serving the food processing and industrial markets with automated inspection and sorting, specialized conveying, grading & sizing and processing/preparation systems. We are currently seeing an Electrical Engineer.
We are seeking a candidate with experience designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission and storage of electricity. Candidates must be able to determine design approaches and parameters and analyze equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or University in a technical discipline and a minimum of two years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Technical skills:
- AutoCAD
- Experience in writing PLC code
- Experience with power distribution and generating schematics
- ECAD/EPLAN
- Familiarity with UL and CE electrical standards
- Structured problem-solving techniques such as Taguchi or Shainan Methods
