We’re looking to hire an entry level Electrical Engineer to our team, who will have the opportunity to participate in the design of state of the art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities.

Our Electrical Engineers will be responsible for working with other lead/contributing Electrical Engineers, design teams, and Sr. Project Managers to create and problem-solve exciting and complex designs that incorporate some of the latest design techniques, while ensuring that all specifications are met, and to ensure timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining the completeness and accuracy of electrical pre-assignment database in support of our equipment design.
  • Evaluate point of connection (POC) & capacity impacts to the pre-assignment database resulting from layouts, tool scope, new supplier data, and facilities equipment installations.
  • Coordinate TI/BB electrical POC & capacity requirements with construction scope and schedule. Identify gaps and escalate to the appropriate team.
  • Interface daily with electrical system owners, project discipline engineers, A/E firms, and/or client to resolve issues and update the electrical pre-assignment database.
  • Execute regular field walks to validate POC physical availability. Identify anomalies, propose resolution, and promptly escalate to the appropriate team for closure.
  • Attend weekly Electrical Working Group (EWG) meetings.
  • Identify and communicate improvement proposals relating to the electrical pre-assignment process and project coordination.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD (or CAD viewer), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and can utilize a PDF markup and collaboration tool such as Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam.
  • Experience or knowledge using industrial power systems modeling software.
  • Experience reading and understanding electrical system one-line diagrams, equipment location drawings, construction drawings, and equipment submittals.
  • Can perform physical field verification work in a factory Subfab and Utility Level environments.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) as it relates to tool pre-assignment activities (e.g., circuit sizing, system capacity, equipment/component ratings, etc.).
  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
