The Panel Shop Technician is responsible for layout and wiring of electrical components used on Electrical Panels for an individual project.
Responsibilities: Serve as a team member on the layout and wire routing of electrical components per panel
- Ensure individual tasks are executed in the most effective manner in regard to time, cost and function
- Ensure assigned Panel layout is correct based on work requirements utilizing drawings, customer specifications and manuals as necessary
- Provide accurate time reporting for assigned activities through the ERP system
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Entry Level experience or basic / minimal knowledge in electrical field and/or panel assembly
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic understanding of Electrical Standards, panel assembly & setup
- Basic ability to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout equipment according to prints
- High desire to learn electrical field
- Team player, able to take direction and be self-directed when needed
- High regard for safety standards
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Work Environment:
This position operates in a plant environment.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. Frequently required to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
Expected Hours of Work:
This position can expect to work frequent overtime and weekend hours as business demands.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
