Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Lead. Electrical Leads play a pivotal role in our organization, and are crucial to Growing the Core, Expanding Beyond, and Living our Culture. The successful candidate will lead the safety culture, coach and develop the team, maximize division profits, and coordinate area electrical maintenance with the operations and maintenance teams.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of electrical maintenance and automation experience
- 2 or 4 year engineering or technical degree
- Proven ability to lead a team
- Skilled in coaching and developing highly motivated and proficient technicians
