Electrical Construction Project Manager to join our
Dallas team.
Job Description
As an Electrical Construction Project Manager you will skillfully plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the project management plan and achieve specific goals such as: conceptual design, Bottom-Up estimating, negotiating with both customer and supplier, vendor selection, site beta testing, profit maximization, customer reporting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be willing to work long hours, and travel as needed. We are seeking candidates with strong and positive organization skills to join our team.
An Electrical Construction Project Manager will:
- Continually build, develop and grow vendor, subcontractor and field personnel relationships throughout entire process to assure success of the project.
- Develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors, and project engineers.
- Act as liaison between local facility staff and regional team members.
- Monitor, control and report on financial performance of projects
- Estimate, negotiate and procure vendors and materials for project.
- Communicate project goals with field personnel in the electrical and lighting trade.
- Communicate complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or any other stakeholders.
- Oversee participation in all aspects of job site safety and adherence to OSHA standards
- Manage numerous work orders and service calls on a national level.
- Manage, motivate and continuously improve team members.
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Minimum of five years related experience and/or training in lighting and electrical industry
- Must be proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
- Must be familiar with electrical estimating software such as ACCUBID.
- Must be able to read customer RFIs, RFPs, blue prints, and contracts.
- Master or Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
- Must have Valid Driver’s License.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multitask while staying organized
- Positive customer service skills
