As a Embedded Systems Engineer within the Harvesting Electronic Systems Team, you will play a critical role in development and maintenance of new embedded systems technologies onto harvesting equipment.
- Develop vehicle embedded system designs and requirements to meet stakeholder needs; perform change impact analysis to determine feasibility.
- Coordinate with software development teams for implementation.
- Oversee integration of software onto the vehicle to ensure compliance to functional requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve issues found during vehicle testing.
- Perform root cause analysis on issues which may include controller software, hardware I/O, wire harnessing, and mechanical subsystems.
- Prepare technical documentation and data analysis.
- Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, Hazard and Risk Assessments.
- Collaborate to develop automated testing for assigned systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Pays $60,000 to $87,000 (
Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- 0-3 years of experience in embedded systems development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship in related field
- Experience with agricultural, automotive or construction vehicles
- Experience using Mathworks® Simulink® and Stateflow®, and other relevant development design tools
- Experience with CAN and/or LIN protocols and diagnostic tools
- Experience with Ethernet diagnostic tools
- Demonstrated technical leadership and organization skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience developing software using the C programming language
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and experience
- Understanding of programming languages
- Ability to learn & interpret vehicle networking protocols
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
