As a Embedded Systems Engineer within the Harvesting Electronic Systems Team, you will play a critical role in development and maintenance of new embedded systems technologies onto harvesting equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop vehicle embedded system designs and requirements to meet stakeholder needs; perform change impact analysis to determine feasibility.
  • Coordinate with software development teams for implementation.
  • Oversee integration of software onto the vehicle to ensure compliance to functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve issues found during vehicle testing.
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues which may include controller software, hardware I/O, wire harnessing, and mechanical subsystems.
  • Prepare technical documentation and data analysis.
  • Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, Hazard and Risk Assessments.
  • Collaborate to develop automated testing for assigned systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Pays $60,000 to $87,000 ( Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • 0-3 years of experience in embedded systems development
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship in related field
  • Experience with agricultural, automotive or construction vehicles
  • Experience using Mathworks® Simulink® and Stateflow®, and other relevant development design tools
  • Experience with CAN and/or LIN protocols and diagnostic tools
  • Experience with Ethernet diagnostic tools
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and organization skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience developing software using the C programming language
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and experience
  • Understanding of programming languages
  • Ability to learn & interpret vehicle networking protocols
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal
