Job Summary:
The NYC Housing Authority (NYCHA) seeks a qualified person to join its Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as Lead Trainer responsible for the development of resources and trainings related to EEO, DEI, and fair housing matters in the workplace. With over 12,000 employees at NYCHA across the City, the Lead Trainer will lead the Office of DEI’s efforts to increase awareness through various forms of outreach.
This position requires development of training material and presentations, and conducting in-person trainings and e-trainings at central office locations and housing development sites across all five boroughs.
Skills:
- Proven experience in training methodologies and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage audience
- Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines and coordinator scheduling
- Knowledge of EEO, DEI and/or fair housing matters a plus
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
