Who We NeedImmediately Hiring three Job Coaches - Vocational Services Specialist located in Mesa, the site is at 924 N. Country Club Dr. Mesa, AZ 85201. Monday- Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm and Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm.
Assess individuals’ needs and design and implement rehabilitation programs that may include personal and vocational recommendations, training, and job placement. Develop and maintain relationships with community referral sources, such as schools and community groups. Maximize the independence of persons who have disabilities.
Requires any combination of training, education, and experience listed below:
- Requires any combination of training, education, and/or experience equal to a high school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in vocational setting.
- Successful completion of Copa’s training program to the satisfaction of ERS/agency requirements
- Satisfactory work record as determined by the Human Resources Department/People 1st.
- Must have a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire.
- Ability to meet Copa’s driver authorized driving requirements.
JOB SUMMARY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
- Ensure the maintenance of departmental operations to achieve compliance with contract requirements, accreditation, licensing and monitoring standards, agency procedures, Federal/State/Local regulations and all other licensing/regulatory agencies as directed.
- Adhere to current training requirements and applicable accreditation and licensing/regulatory standards and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Health Information Technology for Economic Clinical Health (HITECH) requirements.
- Develop rehabilitation plans that fit individuals’ aptitudes, educational levels, physical abilities, and career goals.
- Instruct individuals on procedure of assigned work.
- Achieve production quotas within specified time periods.
