Solar Energy Customer Engagement Specialist

Job description

Qualifications:

• No prior solar industry experience necessary
• Prior sales experience helpful but will train promising candidates
• Reliable transportation
• Access to a smartphone

Responsibilities:

• Generate leads through multiple methods, including: door-to-door, direct sales, referrals, online selling, community events, social media, and fair/home shows
• Qualify prospective customers and homes using a structured pitch to educate customers on solar programs within their utility and present the potential benefits of adopting solar energy
• Educate customers on Sunder Energy products and programs
• Create customer accounts and schedule design appointments
• Build your own work schedule, sell in your own desired territory
• 1099 independent contractor position

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20/hr + commission ($500 - $1000 per install)

Average around $40k base + $25k - $30k commission

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Denver/Centennial, CO: Hybrid work structure, in-person meetings Monday and Thursday
