WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Ensuring that equipment for new models meet customer requirements while maintaining profitability by:
- Participating in new model development regarding drawing review, start-up, design of
tooling, process development, robot programming and process confirmation to create a competitive advantage.
- Being attentive to your team, ensuring clarity of expectations and providing training and coaching as needed.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Accurately and timely reporting of assigned KPIs.
- Troubleshooting and developing countermeasures to improve production.
- Managing capital investment projects metting time and budgetary specifications for the completion of all group projects.
- Providing technical support to production, process, and maintenance groups to improve productivity.

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY:
- You have an Associate degree in business or maintenance or equivalent experience
- You have 3-years of engineering experience.
- You have 1-year supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership experience.
- You are familiar with Microsoft Office.
- You have FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) experience.
- You are familiar with PLC programming.
- You have knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
- You have excellent project management skills.
These qualifications are preferred but not necessary for you to get started:
- You have knowledge of robotic spray painting and vacuum metalizing.
- Automotive background.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting up to 40 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- General Office Environment (3) hours per day.
- Manufacturing Environment (5) hour per day.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.
- Required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
HAZARDS:
While performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts, chemicals, heat, moving equipment, electrical, and pneumatics. Moderate noise levels with specific areas required to wear hearing protection.
