We are currently hiring for Engineering Technical Support in Bensenville, IL.

What will you do as an Engineering Technical Support team member?

• Review orders based on Smart Sequence schedule and verify price, delivery, revision, and profitability of incoming orders
• Confirm process routings and fabrication drawings to be legible for Production as well as confirm we have all 2D/3D files available for the PE and Layout processes
• Collaborate with the Project Engineers on tolerance, manufacturability, and advise on any changes required to meet their specifications; and collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to get the best pricing and delivery while also ensuring high quality.
• Translate customer requirements and expectations using the red layer standards; and develop process plans in M1 with all information required to fabricate to specification and meet customer quality requirements
• Have the knowledge of current project statuses, being aware of current workloads, and how long it will take to complete the project as well as being flexible to other functions to help level workload in overburdened times, providing resources in both Production and Lean facilities projects

Who qualifies for the Engineering Technical Support position?

• Experience in 2D/3D software a plus (SOLIDWORKS preferred)
• Blueprint reading and technical aptitude
• Sheet metal experience a plus
• Excellent computer skills, communication skills and teamwork skills a must

What hours will the Engineering Technical Support work?

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Temp to hire
• OT possible, based on business needs

How much will you earn as a Engineering Technical Support?

• Starting pay is between $23.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience
