Enrichment Teacher Job at IVY Kids of Coit
Immediate opening for a full-time energetic Enrichment Teacher at Ivy Kids Early Learning Center on Coit.
Some of your responsibilities and skills would include but not limited to:
- Implement the Ivy Kids Science curriculum
- Implement the Ivy Kids Spanish curriculum – do not need to be fluent in Spanish
- Be able to expand the Science and Spanish curriculum
- Lead the School-Age / after school program / Summer camp
- Must take initiative to plan and execute activities, schedules and bulletin boards
- Help in the classrooms when needed
- Organize and facilitate the Spanish and Holiday Programs
- Good classroom management skills
- Utilize multi-media resources via the SmartBoard
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience working with children in a Preschool setting
- Understand developmental milestones for all age groups
- Knowledge of Texas DFPS Minimum Standards
- CDA or higher preferred
- High energy and self-motivated individual
- Food handler certification/CPR First Aid REQUIRED
- Genuine love for children
