Role Overview: The Enrollment/Billing Representative serves Evernorth Care Group customers by handling and responding to any correspondence to help the customer understand their Self-Pay statements, invoices and/or insurance claims. This individual is responsible for providing excellent customer service (internally and externally), collecting and applying customer payments, issuing refunds and working aged Self-Pay accounts. Key Responsibilities:
Provides customer service & financial related support for banking and/or billing related functions to new and/or existing accounts.
Sets up, manages, reconciles, processes, and/or balances bank and/or customer accounts.
Researches problems and negotiates with internal/external customers, banks, vendors, and/or partners to resolve moderately complex issues.
Creates, analyzes, and responds to standard and/or non-standard reports.
Bills and/or collects outstanding/delinquent payments or issues payments.
Researches and identifies trends & develops and implements methods to improve results.
May support larger markets and/or National Accounts.
Completes day-to-day Enrollment/Billing tasks without immediate supervision, but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members.
Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues.
Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members. Qualifications:
1+ years' customer service experience, telephone support preferred
1+ years' billing experience, Healthcare/Medical preferred
HS diploma required
Experience with EPIC practice management system preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Ability to multitask
Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to speak fluent Spanish a plus

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17 - 22 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
